Liability

  • The company and its agents act only as agents of the passengers in all matters relating to tours, and it accepts no responsibility for any personal illness, injury, delays loss or damage from any cause whatsoever.
  • The passenger’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles are governed by the respective law of the country, Kenya in which the tour takes place and no other country and no claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action
  • Whilst every care is taken, the company will not be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage, personal effects, valuables, traveler’s Cheque or it is therefore, advisable to effect a separate baggage/loss insurance.

Payments

A deposit of 20% on booking of any travel arrangements, the balance to be made 15 days before commencement of the tour. Payment in full is required. If bookings are made less than 15 days before the tour begins. The deposit may be forfeited in case of cancellation and amendments. All payments are required to be sent by swift telegraphic transfer and debit advice of your bank has to be copied to us by facsimile prior to arrival of clients. We reserve the right to refuse services to any pre-booked clients if we do not receive confirmation of the said payment as requested. Details of our bank address and account number can be provided upon request.

Cancellation and non-show fees

Cancellation fees will apply for both individual and group bookings only in the event of accommodation not being resold. The following represents the maximum cancellation fees permissible and no hotel or lodge may charge fees in excess of these figures except as agreed by private treaty but, the discretion as to whether to raise cancellation fees at all lies with the hotelkeeper.

Lodges

  • For accommodation cancelled or reduced in number between 35 and 14 days, from noon on the date of accommodation, 20% of the rate applicable per bed night cancelled.
  • For accommodation cancelled or reduced in number between 14 days and 2 days, from noon on the date of accommodation 40% of the rate
  • In case of cancellation within 48 hours from noon to the date of accommodation or in the case of no-show, 100% of the net value of the booking

Drivers/Guides

Trained English-speaking African driver/guides are provided unless any passenger specifically requests a professional courier, in which case an extra charge will be imposed. Our drivers are multilingual. Besides English and Swahili, most drivers /guides can speak at least one foreign language. Most of the drivers/guides have vast knowledge of roads and game animals. They are knowledgeable to the various cultures at each location.

Vehicles

We have experienced staff disposed to work 24 hours. All our safari vehicles have VHF/HF radio and safety equipment to ensure comfort, safety and security. All our excursions and transfer buses and coaches are equipped with VHF radios and public addressing systems.
